The month of Muharram is one of the special months in Islam. Muharram is one of the haram (holy) months in which Muslims are encouraged to avoid wrongdoing and increase worship and good deeds.
Muharram witnessed many important events in the history of the Prophets. Among them are the rescue of Prophet Moses from the pursuit of Fir’aun, the landing of Prophet Noah’s ship after the great flood, and the release of Prophet Yunus from the belly of the fish. These events add to the glory of Muharram and teach us about the power and mercy of Allah.
Alhamdulillah, Muharram 1446 H activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Jakarta with Sheikh Muhammad Mustofa Subhi Al Misri and Ustadz. H. Zainal Abidin, S.Pd went well. Hopefully in this new year, we will become a new and better person.
